Word to New York. Honey, you do you so well. I was extremely blessed to have everything come together toward the end of 2016 and have had the pleasure to visit the city that never sleeps. Most of my days there began early in the morning and ended at about 9pm so I don't know much about that night life.
I think there comes a time in a girl's life after watching Breakfast at Tiffany's, Gossip Girl and Home Alone 2 when you envision yourself in a fancy-can't pronounce it french dress strolling the streets of Manhattan with a cup of coffee in your hand. I could make circles around Lexington, 5th, Park and Madison for days. I could gaze up at the city from the steps of the Met for hours. How gracious the Upper East Side, how exhilarating DUMBO. Modern and old, chique and ghetto-fabulous. History, architecture, subways and to top it all off the most wonderful time of the year. Christmas lights twinkled and lit up the city. I thank God for making everything come together for a time like this, New York, New York.
Itinerary: Time Square, Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, Brooklyn Bridge, DUMBO, China Town, The Village, Flat Iron building, Madison Park, Bryant Park, Central Park, Washington Square Park, the Met, 5th Avenue light show and window displays, Freedom Tower and 9/11 memorial. I can't wait to see you again!
